For the first time ever, the Arizona Republic newspaper endorsed a Democrat for president. Reaction from supporters of the Republican candidate was as you would expect.
Donald Trump’s attorney to New York Times:
“We hereby demand that you immediately cease any further publication of this article, remove it from your website and issue a full and immediate retraction and apology. Failure to do so will leave my client with no option but to pursue all available actions and remedies.”
New York Times attorney responds:
“If Mr. Trump disagrees, if he believes that American citizens had no right to hear what these women had to say and that the law of this country forces us and those who would dare to criticize him to stand silent or be punished, we welcome the opportunity to have a court set him straight.”
The Donald may or may not be gaining on Hillary in the presidential race… depending on which poll you look at and on which day you look at it. Trump has ardent supporters who say they appreciate a non-establishment candidate who does not care about political correctness, who tells it like it is.
