I remember meeting the Ventures guitarist Nokie Edwards a couple of times in the late 60’s. I lived in Puyallup, WA which was one of the places that Nokie called home. The Ventures were from nearby Tacoma. I worked at the Standard gas station in Puyallup and Nokie came in a few times while I was working driving his blue Corvette. Cool dude!
